And so for tentisode 1. The first campsite of the week is Sandy Balls in The New Forest, Hampshire. Team Anorak have just returned from a long weekend in the forests of fine Fordingbridge and we absolutely love it! It’s got wooden huts, it’s got teepees, it’s got tents it’s got… Sandy Boules. Book early for extra cheap January red letter prices and summer high season.

If you think we’ve had a nippy January, check this out. A winter making machine called Sensorama we spotted over at designboom. It’s the brainchild of Polish design company Centrala and is basically a big wooden box that contains Poland’s hardest winter of the 20th Century that took place in 1979. People who poke their head in for a look around will encounter the temperature, the smell, the sound, the air humidity, the blue lips. Brrrrrrrr.

We’ve been super busy making sure our new ropes & boats collection is all ship shape. Well guess what, we’re almost ready to set sail.
